Amplifier Technology launches new high power broadband pallet amplifier

Amplifier Technology Ltd, a UK-based company that specialises in the design of RF and microwave power amplifiers, has announced a new amplifier, the 9003 model, which is a broadband pallet amplifier for Electronic Counter Measures, providing a minimum of 50W saturated output power over the frequency range 2.5 to 6GHz.
The 9003 is a pallet amplifier based on GaN HEMT devices, built with a small footprint which measures just 160mm by 100mm. The 9003 offers a useful combination of high efficiency (25%typ.) and good linearity. It has been designed for vehicle-mounted applications or airborne use up to a height of 12,000 metres.
Amplifier Technology supplies this as a pallet, with the option of adding connectors if the customer requires.
