Martek Power unveils Compact PCI power supply for on-board railway applications

Featuring 100W maximum output power, the CPCIR series is designed specifically to meet the exacting requirements of EN50155 and will interest customers who need to power on-board computer applications.

As standard, the triple output CPCIR power supplies operate from 72/110 and 24/36VDC input and provide the following output voltages – 5.1V, 3.3V and 12V. Designed to conform to the standard cPCI profile, these are convection-cooled units that will operate between -40 to +70ºC and up to +85 ºC for 10 minutes without derating (EN50155 Temperature Class TX).

Key features include high efficiency, a hold up time of 10ms from nominal voltage, input and output protection, thermal protection and input/output status indication. With a height of 3U, the CPCIR series features a conformal coated PCB and includes an EMC screened front panel and lower ejector as standard. An optional ventilated enclosure offering protection to IP20 is also available.

In addition to meeting EN50155, the units comply with EN50121-3-2 (2006), EN55022 Class B and EN61000-6-2 for EMC, EN60950 for safety and NF-F-16-102 category A2 for fire and smoke.
