The non-inductive (< 0,1µH) device features thermal resistance at 1100 W and + 25°C heat sink temperature of 0,039°C/W. The temperature coefficient equals ± 150 ppm/°C.
With its high power capabilities and high dielectric strength to 12 kVRMS and overload capability up to 2200 W for 10 seconds, the LPS1100 is ideal for power supply, inverter, converter HEV-EV battery management, snubber, chopper, pre-charge, discharge, filtering and crowbar resistor applications. Typical end products will include windmill turbines, x-ray, oncology tables, trains and large UPS drives.
Vishay’s power thick film resistor range is available from 1 O to 1,3 kO and with tolerances from ± 1% to ± 10%. The unit is suitable for operating temperatures from – 55°C up to + 200°C and is compliant to RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. Samples and production quantities are available now at Rutronik.
