DATA MODUL AG is expanding its display portfolio with a new 17.3-inch mini LED display from Innolux. With a UHD 4K resolution (3840×2160), 10-bit colour depth and an LED service life of at least 15,000 hours, this display is said to set new standards in image quality and longevity.
“The technical features of the display, including the high colour accuracy of typically 95% DCI-P3, HDR 1000 (typ) brightness and a precise local dimming function with 1440 zones, offer unique HDR picture quality,” said Claus Vogt, product manager – display at DATA MODUL. “This is particularly crucial in demanding applications such as medicine, where accuracy and detail are essential. The display is also ideal for applications in other areas such as in-flight entertainment, broadcasting, automotive, gaming and digital signage.
With a high contrast ratio of 12000:1, the display offers OLED-like colour and contrast quality without the risk of potential burn-in effects. The panel is also characterised by a high level of robustness, durability and energy efficiency compared to conventional OLED displays. The long-term availability of the product, the lower power consumption compared to standard high-brightness displays and the thin and light properties of the display are also said to be impressive.
