Telonic Instruments launches Siglent SNA5000X-E Series – compact, cost-effective 6.5 GHz vector network analyser for R&D and production

Designed to deliver essential RF measurement capability without compromising performance, the SNA5000X-E provides a suitable solution for engineers working in research and development, education, and production environments.
The SNA5000X-E series offers frequency coverage from 9 kHz up to 6.5 GHz and delivers a typical dynamic range of 125 dB, ensuring accurate and stable measurements across a wide range of RF applications. Positioned as a cost-effective, entry-level model within the SNA5000 family, it retains the core performance architecture of higher-end models while making advanced vector network analysis more accessible.
Engineers benefit from high-resolution measurements with 1 Hz frequency resolution, adjustable IF bandwidth from 1 Hz to 10 MHz, and an output power range from –40 dBm to +10 dBm. These capabilities ensure precise characterisation of RF components even in complex test scenarios.
The SNA5000X-E supports comprehensive S-parameter measurements, differential analysis, and integrated time-domain functionality. Enhanced time-domain analysis and spectrum analysis features allow users to evaluate impedance discontinuities and quickly identify faults within devices under test. A built-in eye diagram function further enhances signal integrity analysis for high-speed applications.
To address common measurement challenges, the instrument includes advanced correction tools such as automatic fixture removal, port extension, de-embedding, and impedance conversion. These features minimise systematic errors caused by cables and fixtures, ensuring high confidence in test results.
Designed with modern laboratories and production lines in mind, the SNA5000X-E features a compact footprint with a depth of just 12.6 cm and a weight of less than 5.4 kg, significantly reducing bench space requirements. A 12.1-inch touchscreen with multi-window display capabilities provides an intuitive and efficient user experience.
For manufacturing and automated environments, the analyser includes one-click filter analysis for rapid extraction of key parameters such as insertion loss and bandwidth. Support for SCPI commands and WebServer remote control enables seamless integration into automated test systems, improving efficiency and repeatability.
