In the displays segment, Rutronik is expanding its portfolio to include the DLC0210RHCS-1 from DLC Displays Co. Ltd., a round TFT display with an integrated rotary knob, a resolution of 480 x 480 dpi and a user interface (UI) that can be customized. With a size of 2.1’ (Ø 53.34 mm), the displays have a very narrow rim, which reduces the viewing area to just Ø 53.28 mm. They are suitable for use in consumer applications, industrial control or electrical devices, and are available at www.rutronik24.com.
The round display has a maximum colour depth of 16.7 M colours (RGB), a typical brightness of 300 cd/m2 and, thanks to IPS technology, is easy to read in all directions. The HMI module operates reliably at an operating voltage of 5 V and at operating temperatures of -20 °C to +70 °C. The module is controlled via the serial UART interface.
