Amokabel has introduced its latest electrical wiring solution: the Def-Stan 61-12 Part 18 Type 1 Equipment Wires. This new product, detailed in datasheet LD012194v2, is designed to meet stringent safety and performance standards, for military and defence applications on land, sea and air.
Available from Aerco, the Amokabel Def-Stan 61-12 Part 18 wires features a wide temperature rating, capable of withstanding extreme conditions from -50°C to +120°C. The conductors, made of solid or stranded plated annealed copper
wire, range from 30 to 12 AWG, with a tin-coated copper core, ensuring durability and optimal conductivity.
Certified to meet the rigorous Def Stan 61-12 Pt 18 flame test, these wires are insulated with a flame retardant dual layer, enhancing safety in high-risk environments such as navy vessels or aircraft. They feature a voltage rating of 600 volts RMS or 800 volts DC, suitable for various demanding electrical applications.
Designed for flexibility, these wires offer a bend radius of 10 times the overall diameter for flexible applications and four times the overall diameter for fixed installations. Available from Aerco, the wires come with a convenient lead time of just five weeks.
