Yokogawa's DLM2000 mixed-signal oscilloscope has been enhanced with longer memory capabilities and a number of firmware improvements. In the new version, the length of the acquisition memory has been increased up to 62.5 Mpoints in the standard unit and up to 250 Mpoints with the extended memory option.

Aeroflex has introduced the new 8800 Radio Test Set; a high performance, economical radio test system for Analog AM and FM; and Digital P25, DMR, dPMR, NXDN, and ARIB T98 technologies. The set is equipped with a large touch-screen colour display and a new hybrid portable design that provides bench-level test features while maintaining the low weight, ruggedness, and 2.5 hour internal battery required for field testing.

Renesas Electronics Europe has announced a collaboration with the Australian consulting firm ASTC in which it developed a new ASIC for a consumer electronics customer and was able to provide a full board support package (secure boot, drivers and OS) before the silicon was available. The speed and efficiency of the development enabled Renesas to produce the ASIC exceptionally fast, while the customer reduced time to market for its new imaging solution.

GOEPEL electronics has developed a new solution for Boundary Scan test of DDR3-DIMM sockets. The CION Module SO-DIMM204-3/ECC is simply plugged into the test socket and allows the structural test coverage of DDR3 memory interfaces.

Murata have commenced mass production of, what they believe to be, the smallest and lightest surface mount piezoelectric sounder currently to be available. Occupying significantly less surface area, and with a combined weight and area reduction of 44% compared to previous products from Murata, the PKMCS0909E4000-R1 measures just 9 x 9 x 1.7 mm and weighs only 160 mg.
