Charcroft Electronics, a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electronic components, has appointed Kelbie Lambert as sales office manager, based at the head-office in Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales, and Richard Sullivan as field-based business development manager covering customers across the UK and Ireland.
As the new sales office manager, Kelbie Lambert underpins the commitment to existing and new customers in harsh and mission-critical sectors.
Kelbie said: “The growing sales team will work closely with customers and suppliers to develop deeper engagement and support for new design-ins as well as legacy upgrade and maintenance projects. We will work in partnership with engineers to support electrical component selection, offer alternative solutions and introduce the latest innovations to optimise performance, availability, and cost. The focus will be on our core sectors which include aerospace, defence, industrial and high-end audio, in addition to oil and gas.”
With a young family, Kelbie spends much of his free time taking his family to amusement parks such as Legoland, Chessington World of Adventures and local soft-play activities.
New business development manager Richard Sullivan has been in the industry for 13 years, and has focused on electronic components, in addition to cable ties and industrial conveyor belts.
“I am passionate about driving growth, forging strategic partnerships and adding value,” Richard said. “Relationships are key within this industry, and my experience not only allows me to be a supplier, but also a partner for each customer, by helping to solve tough challenges.” Outside of work, Richard is a life-long supporter of Cardiff City football club and enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places.
Charcroft director Vicky Mellor explained: “The ability to develop rapid and original solutions is vital to ensure that our customers achieve success, both commercially and technically. By joining the Charcroft team, our new colleagues will add a fresh approach to supporting customers in the most challenging industries.”
