HUBER+SUHNER has unveiled a new connector for RF connectivity applications up to a maximum of 12.4GHz. Unlike HUBER+SUHNER’s standard BMA connector series, the new cost effective blind mate ECO BMA connector has been produced with a brass housing and surface plated using the company’s SUCOPRO process.
Despite the use of cost effective materials, ECO BMA connectors are mechanically compatible with standard BMA connectors according to MIL-STD-348A/321.
ECO BMA series connectors are available as straight bulkhead cable plugs and straight panel cable jacks – both types for semi-rigid as well as flexible cables. They provide both axial and radial floating for blind mating and a durability of up to 500 matings. Temperature range is -40° to +125°C which is wide enough for all but the most extreme applications.
