On 28th September 2018, Components Bureau and Display Solutions were acquired by Display Technology, the UK subsidiary of Fortec Elektronik AG, a public listed company in Germany with a turnover of €80,000,000.
Both Components Bureau and Display Solutions will continue to operate from Osprey House, Huntingdon.
Display Solutions will benefit from Distec’s technical expertise with the Artista and Prisma range of boards and the large inventory of displays providing an ex-stock delivery for many products. The acquisition allows Components Bureau to expand their Precision range of wound components in Europe.
Cheng M Yoe will continue to lead both companies as they look to expand across the UK and Europe. Cheng will report to Bernhard Staller, chief operating officer, Fortec Elektronik AG.
