NL6002AN NL6002AF 1920 x 1080 BNisshinbo Micro Devices, a specialist in electronic solutions, has launched the NL6002, a dual operational amplifier specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements of precision measurement equipment. With features that emphasize low-power consumption, high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance, and rail-to-rail input/output functionality.

The NL6002 is built to serve a wide range of applications, particularly in battery-powered sensor systems. Operating at a low supply voltage from just 1.6V and drawing a supply current of only 15 μA per channel, it provides an impressive balance of performance and power efficiency. This makes it a suitable choice for sensors that require precise, consistent output, even under challenging environmental conditions.

One of the defining aspects of the NL6002 is its input offset voltage and drift specifications, achieving an input offset voltage of 150 μV (maximum) and an offset voltage drift of 0.9 μV/°C (maximum). Such precision is enabled by Nisshinbo’s proprietary Xtended trimming technology, which minimizes drift across a broad temperature range. This advancement provides impressive accuracy, ensuring minimal signal error in critical applications where even small discrepancies can impact overall system performance.

The NL6002’s rail-to-rail input/output design allows it to fully utilize the limited voltage available in battery-operated systems, enhancing flexibility for designers working within tight power constraints. Additionally, with its high EMC performance, the device is engineered to withstand electromagnetic interference, which commonly disrupts sensor functionality in industrial environments. By minimizing the risk of malfunction in high-noise areas, it ensures stable, long-term operation, reducing the need for system rework and reconfiguration.

“With its combination of high precision, low-power requirements, and robustness against EMC, the NL6002 is set to become a vital component for manufacturers focused on creating highly reliable, energy-efficient sensor systems for industrial applications”, says Nisshinbo Micro Devices. The dual operational amplifier is available in an EMP-8-AN and VSP-8-AF package, another small version in a DFN3030-8-GF package is under development as well as a single (NL6000) and quad (NL6004) operational amplifier version. The NL6002 is available for purchase now.
