FORTEC introduces MED-Line 15.6” high-end touch monitor for medical device development
FORTEC Group has introduced the MED-Line 15.6” High-End Touch Monitor, a new display platform developed specifically for medical applications and designed for integration into ISO 13485 medical device development projects.
At the core of the platform is a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 500 cd/m² brightness, providing clear visualisation of clinical data. Wide viewing angles ensure reliable readability across various medical workstation environments.
The monitor incorporates a 10-point projected capacitive touchscreen, enabling responsive and intuitive user interaction suitable for modern touch-based medical interfaces.
Designed for clinical environments, the system features a sealed IP65 front surface with durable glass, allowing easy cleaning and supporting strict hygiene requirements.
A distinctive feature of the platform is its integrated system status indicator. A visual LED at the top of the display provides immediate operational feedback, signalling normal operation or system faults.
Integration is simplified through single-cable connectivity, allowing power, video and data to be transmitted via one connection. A configurable connectivity box supports secure and standards-compliant data communication while addressing cybersecurity considerations.
Additional integrated features such as light and proximity sensors, optional camera support for telemedicine applications, and NFC authentication enable the platform to support modern connected healthcare systems.
Together, these capabilities allow the MED-Line display to serve not only as a monitor but as a flexible human-machine interface (HMI) platform for next-generation medical device development.
