The awards exist to highlight excellence across instrumentation and electronics, celebrating developments that demonstrate strong engineering principles, measurable real‑world impact and meaningful contributions to industry.

A new category has been introduced for 2026: Industrial AI Product of the Year, reflecting the rapid growth of artificial intelligence across instrumentation and electronics. Full criteria for each category are available on the awards website at iandeawards.co.uk/categories-criteria.
The entry process is open to organisations and individuals across the instrumentation and electronics community. Entrants can submit nominations directly through the website, where each category has its own entry form and guidance on eligibility and supporting information.
Nominations remain open until 30th June 2026, after which judging will take place ahead of the awards ceremony. Winners will be announced on 15 October 2026 at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, where the industry will gather to celebrate the year’s most significant achievements.
