OKW’s SENSO-CASE plastic enclosures offer ergonomic single-handed operation

OKW’s ergonomic SENSO-CASE for sensors, optoelectronics, measurement and control, stock/sales logging, communications and medical/laboratory equipment

OKW’s ergonomic SENSO-CASE handheld enclosures can now be specified with or without a trigger as standard.

These smart, modern ABS (UL 94 HB) enclosures are designed for comfortable single-handed operation. Applications include sensors, opto-electronics and opto-digital technologies, industrial image processing, measurement and control, stock and sales logging, communications and medical/laboratory equipment.

SENSO-CASE’s specially designed grip makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The enclosures are ideally balanced for maximum user comfort. They are offered either with or without a push-button trigger on the underside.

Each housing comprises four parts: top, base, handle cover and either a cable gland or removable end panel. The control panel is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad, push buttons and LCDs. Sensors can be mounted in the large front face. Simultaneous operation is possible using a cable connection or standard/rechargeable cells (2 x AA, 1 x 9V). Inside, there are fastening pillars for PCBs.

SENSO-CASE (180 x 86 x 45 mm) is available in two standard colours: off-white (RAL 9002) and lava. Custom colours are available on request.

Accessories include battery holders, a 9 V plug-in contact, wall holders, adhesive foil, a pull relief cable clamp, cable grommets with strain relief, a ring eyelet, and self-tapping screws for fastening components, boards and PCBs onto pillars.

OKW can SUPPLY SENSO-CASE fully customised. Services include machining, lacquering, printing, laser marking, decor foils, special materials. EMC shielding, and installation/assembly of accessories.
