Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the software framework company for autonomous systems, will be exhibiting at embedded world 2024 on booth 421 in hall 4. The focus will be on the RTI Connext connectivity framework for autonomous systems in various markets. RTI Connext is based on the OMG Data Distribution Service (DDSTM) standard and accelerates the development, deployment and management of highly autonomous systems from the sensor to the cloud. It is a secure connectivity framework that manages complex data distribution in real time across platforms and systems. RTI will be demonstrating the benefits of the framework in presentations on automotive and healthcare applications, and on DDS-TSN at its booth.

Connext Professional handles real-time data with the reliability, security and ultra-low latency essential for mission-critical real-world systems. It distributes and manages real-time data, allowing applications and devices to work together as one, integrated system.

Specifically for the automotive market, RTI presents its Connext Drive 3.0 as the first flexible, future-proof and data-centric communication framework for software-defined vehicles (SDVs). It expedites time to market by providing the first platform-independent adherence to the highest functional safety standard, ISO26262 ASIL D, and bridges the platform gap between DDS, AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and ROS 2.

At the embedded world conference, RTI will be giving a presentation on “IT/OT Data Convergence: A comparative Analysis of MQTT, OPC UA and DDS for Industry 4.0 Cases” on 9 April at 13:45 (Session: 2.5 Connectivity Solutions / Application Layer Protocols). Speaker will be Dr. Gerardo Pardo-Castellote, Chief Technology Officer at RTI.
