Scalable signal switching for semiconductor test on show from Pickering at Microelectronics US
Visit booth 317 at Microelectronics US from April 22-23 in Austin, TX
Pickering Interfaces will showcase its range of modular signal switching solutions for semiconductor test and verification at Microelectronics US 2026, taking place April 22–23 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. Visitors to stand #317 will also be able to explore the company’s recently launched graphical design tool, Test System Architect, developed to simplify signal switching and cabling system design.
Microelectronics US is a leading event for the US microelectronics industry, bringing together professionals across design, R&D, and advanced manufacturing
“At Pickering, we provide highly specialized switching solutions designed to meet the rigorous demands of semiconductor testing,” said Steve Edwards, Head of Product Management at Pickering. “Our systems support applications such as wafer acceptance testing, high pin-count package validation, and photonics testing, delivering precise signal routing, low leakage, and scalable architectures that integrate seamlessly into complex test environments.”
At the show, Pickering will highlight a range of switching solutions for semiconductor test, including:
- Scalable modular switching platform – 6-slot LXI 2U chassis (65-200), configurable with up to six plug-in modules for flexible test system design
- High-density matrix switching – LXI reed relay matrix (65-221-011) featuring a dual 128×4 configuration, originally developed for semiconductor applications
- RF switching – PXI RF multiplexer (40-785C-571-TE) with automatic termination, remotely mounted relays, and failsafe operation
- High-voltage switching capability – PXI multiplexer (40-321-120-HI) supporting up to 1000 VDC / 1000 VAC peak
- Test system design software – Test System Architect, a free online graphical tool that enables engineers to design, configure, and visualize complete signal paths before deployment, reducing development time and minimizing errors
The above PXI modules will be housed in an LXI/USB 4-slot modular chassis (60-105), fully compliant with LXI standard 1.4, which allows 3U PXI switching and simulation modules to be controlled via USB or in an Ethernet LXI environment.
Also featured will be solutions from Pickering’s reed relay and connectivity divisions.
