LG Motion’s apprentice, Calan Kenward, has just been named Apprentice of the Year in the Inspire Business Awards. This comes hot on the heels of his recent runner-up award at the Southern ManufacturingApprentice of The Year.
All at LG Motion are extremely proud of Calan. Gary Livingstone, MD of LG Motion says: “We have a winner! Talented apprentices are key to the future of British Engineering, so congratulations to Calan and all the winners and finalists.”
The Inspire Awards celebrate the best of North Hampshire’s businesses. This year saw a record breaking number of entrants which makes it even more special to be recognised as amongst the best. The night showed just how buoyant and resilient business is, a very positive experience for Calan as well as an opportunity for him to meet the people he will get to know over the coming years.
Calan is not yet used to being in the limelight, saying: “All the attention is a bit embarrassing. I just want to get on with my job which is what I love doing most.”
Congratulations to Calan and here’s to a bright future for him in British Engineering.
