WE United invites electronics industry to connect at electronica 2026

WE United will join the global electronics industry at electronica 2026 in Munich this November, with Founder and CEO Jackie Mattox delivering a “State of the Union” keynote address. The organisation is also inviting attendees to a complimentary networking reception hosted by DigiKey on 11 November.

Mattox will deliver her keynote at 9:30 am local time on 11 November at the Future Tech Stage in Hall C6 as part of the Women in Tech Forum. Her address will highlight findings from WE United’s Lead Forward Report, which examines six interconnected areas influencing leadership progression across the technology sector, including executive representation, pay equity, entrepreneurship and access to funding. Among its findings, women represent just 26.7% of the global technology workforce, with 45% cited as leaving tech for cultural reasons, highlighting the continued need to strengthen leadership pipelines and expand opportunities across the industry.

Jackie Mattox, Founder and CEO of WE United, said: “electronica convenes people and organisations shaping the future of our industry, which makes it an important place to discuss relevant leadership topics and strengthen the workforce ahead. Our Lead Forward Report reinforces that advancing women and building balanced leadership pipelines requires a collective industry effort. I look forward to sharing these insights and exploring how we can move the conversation into meaningful action across the global electronics ecosystem.”

WE United and DigiKey invite electronica attendees to reception

The WE United cocktail reception, hosted by DigiKey, will take place from 4 – 6 pm local time on 11 November at Hall C5, Stand 401. The reception will provide an informal opportunity to meet the WE United community and connect with professionals from across the electronics industry.

The event continues the longstanding relationship between WE United and Platinum sponsor DigiKey, a foundational supporter of the organisation and its work across the electronics industry.

“DigiKey is proud to continue our partnership with WE United and support its work to advance women in electronics and technology globally,” said DigiKey CEO Dave Doherty. “Our collaboration is focused on fostering awareness, education and connections that help build a stronger industry, and electronica provides an important opportunity to bring that community together. We’re pleased to host the WE United reception in Munich to strengthen relationships, share ideas and continue supporting the development of leaders across the industry.”
