Electronics technologies have become indispensable in medicine and the healthcare sector. From diagnostics to treatment and prevention, medical-electronics solutions are used everywhere. At electronica 2014, which takes place at the Messe München trade-fair center from November 11–14, several exhibitors will present new technologies and products in the medical-electronics sector. Their exhibits will focus on the on-going miniaturization, increased efficiency and increased networking of components that make it easier to recognize diseases early and cure them.

Next month Motiv8 will be hosting the next in its series of forums at the William’s F1 Conference Centre near Oxford. This year’s Subcon show sees the launch of a complete section of the show specifically dedicated to electronics manufacturing. Subcon 2014, which runs at the NEC, Birmingham, from 3 to 5 June is the only UK trade show dedicated to contract and subcontract manufacturing.

Southern Electronics, the UK’s longest-running electronics show, returns to FIVE, Farnborough on February 12th and 13th. With an incredible diversity of suppliers gathered in an exhibition space larger than five of the halls of the NEC combined, the show is arguably the key event for UK electronics.
