GOEPEL electronics’ UK Technology Day 2013 to take place in March

GOEPEL electronics has announced that it will be holding its annual UK Technology Day on March 14th, 2012 at the Duxford Imperial War Museum. This one day event is a mixture of seminar and workshop sessions, where participants can gain deeper insight into the latest capabilities of test technologies including: Embedded System Access (ESA) including JTAG/Boundary Scan, Automated Optical Inspection, Automated X-Ray Inspection and 3D Solder Paste Inspection.

The event is focused on electronics design and production related technologies and will, according to the organisers, provide valuable information for test engineers, design engineers and production managers

During the Technology Day, GOEPEL electronics and a number of partner companies will give presentations, demonstrations and live workshops. During the workshops, which will be running all day, attendees will get to explore the new developments and improvements of GOEPEL electronic’s test systems and will be able to look at ways in which it might be possible to improve test strategies to optimise manufacturing operations. They can be attended at any time, being tailor-made for presentations on who attends.

Additionally, third-party companies such as Takaya, Aeroflex, Pickering Interfaces, MacPanel, Flying Test Systems, Reflex Technology, Aster Technologies, Zen Production, Flying Test, Firecron, Thurlby Thandar Instruments, Peak and TBG will exhibit their latest technologies to be visited the whole day.

Interested parties are welcome to register by contacting Samantha Law by email s.law@goepel.co.uk, phone 01223 858298 or at www.technologydays.co.uk

Run by experienced technology experts GOEPEL electronics’ UK Technology Day both looks to explain and demonstrate various test and inspection methodologies. The event is not primarily planned as product introduction but idea and knowledge transfer platform as well as networking. In fact users from various fields in the electronics industry give presentations informing their peers about current projects, certain technology benefits and individual experiences.
